When this policy refers to "we", "us", "our", or "Developer", it refers directly to Workflow Outsource. When referring to "you", "driver", or "user", it refers to registered drivers and personnel authorized to use Driver Companion App V2.

2. Prominent Disclosure: Location Data & Background Tracking

Background location data is never sold or shared with unauthorized third-party advertisers. It is strictly used for operational logistics and transport dispatch purposes as described above.

To provide booking management and dispatch services, Driver Companion App V2 collects the following categories of information:

A. Personal Identification & Account Data

• Driver Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
• Login credentials and assigned Driver Identification Code.
• Vehicle assignment details (registration number, vehicle class).

B. Location Information

• Precise Location Data (GPS & Network-Based): Fine and coarse geographic location coordinates collected during active shifts.
• Background Location: Location coordinates collected via foreground service when the application is minimized or running in the background.

C. Booking & Trip Data

• Assigned booking details, pickup/drop-off locations, passenger information, timestamp logs, and completion status.

D. Device & Technical Diagnostics

• Device model, Operating System version, unique device identifiers, network connection status, and application crash/diagnostic logs.
• Push Notification tokens (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging token) to deliver instant job alerts.

4. How We Use Your Information

Workflow Outsource uses the collected information strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

• Assigning and dispatching transport bookings to active drivers.
• Providing turn-by-turn navigation assistance and route tracking.
• Sharing real-time trip status and location updates with dispatchers and booking customers.
• Sending critical push notifications regarding new bookings, schedule modifications, or trip updates.
• Allowing direct voice communication between drivers and passengers/dispatch via phone calls.
• Ensuring system security, troubleshooting technical errors, and improving app stability.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We respect your privacy and do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third-party marketers or advertisers.

We may share collected data only under the following operational circumstances:

• Dispatch & Booking Management: Location and booking progress are shared with dispatch managers and booking clients associated with the trip.
• Service Providers: We utilize secure third-party infrastructure providers to support app operations, such as:
  • Firebase (Google Cloud Platform): For push notifications, database services, and crash analytics.
  • Map & Navigation APIs: For route calculations and mapping tiles.

6. Data Security & Storage

Workflow Outsource implements industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

• All network communication between Driver Companion App V2 and our dispatch servers is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS).
• Access to driver location history and account data is restricted strictly to authorized operational staff.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion Requests

We retain driver account information and location history for as long as your account remains active with Workflow Outsource or as necessary to fulfill legal and accounting requirements.

Requesting Account Deletion & Data Removal

In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, drivers have the right to request the deletion of their account and associated personal data.

To request complete account and data removal, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email to our support team with the subject line "Account Deletion Request - Driver Companion App V2".
2. Include your registered Driver Name, Email Address, and Phone Number in the request body.
3. Upon receipt and verification of identity, we will permanently delete or anonymize your personal account data, trip history, and location logs within 30 days, except where retention is mandated by applicable law.

8. Overview of App Permissions

To operate effectively, Driver Companion App V2 requests the following permissions on your mobile device:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Required to determine your precise device position for trip tracking and booking assignment.
• ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION: Required to monitor driver position during active shifts when the app is in the background.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION: Required to maintain uninterrupted location tracking during active driver jobs.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to send instant alerts for new booking assignments and trip updates.
• CALL_PHONE: Allows drivers to initiate calls directly to dispatchers or booking clients.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Ensures driver trip service state is correctly managed if the device reboots.

9. Children's Privacy

Driver Companion App V2 is designed exclusively for professional transport drivers and authorized adult personnel. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
